Encrypted Messaging App “Signal” to Use Google’s Domain as a Front to Avoid Censorship
Signal, an encrypted messaging app by Open Whisper Systems, will now use Google’s domain as a front to avoid traffic and to bypass censorship. Many people in countries where repressive regimes rule use VPN or Tor to connect to messaging apps, which too can be banned. Signal bypasses censorship using domain fronting, a censorship circumvention technique. #App #Google
